Marshall Knauer, DMD
Dr. Marshall Knauer is the future of Sprayberry Dental Associates. After growing up and working in our practice through high school and college with his father, Dr. Jeffrey Knauer, he also joined the dental profession. Dr. Marshall Knauer graduated with a B.A. in Management from the University of Georgia in 2007 and completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from the Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 2011.
Dr. Knauer enjoys participating in volunteer dental efforts. He currently volunteers at the Ben Massell clinic in Atlanta, a nonprofit organization providing care to Atlanta's neediest population. During his time at Tufts, he was an active member of the Alpha Omega dental fraternity. The fraternity members participated in Tooth Day at Fenway Park in Boston and had the opportunity to travel on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic where they were able to provide dental care to underserved populations at a local orphanage. Dr. Knauer hopes to take part in future mission trips.
Active in continuing education, Dr. Knauer stays current in dental technology and clinical treatment solutions such as dental implant restorations, cosmetic veneers and root canals through his memberships in the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Society of Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry.
Dr. Knauer is enjoying being back in Georgia and having the opportunity to work with his father as a general dentist. He looks forward to forming peer relationships with local dentists who served as mentors and provided him with a great deal of encouragement over the years.
